Church family,
We have spent the past 7 weeks working through what it means for us to live out being a Kingdom Christian. Living our lives in such an intentional way that others are drawn into a relationship with Jesus Christ. We started out stating that, “Often when we read the Beatitudes out of context, we turn them into conditional statements. ‘If I want God’s blessing, then I better seek after persecution or petition tragedy.’ That’s missing the point. These blessing aren’t necessarily mandates, but rather natural manifestations of kingdom living.”
It’s living our lives so intentionally for Christ that living that way in its self is a blessing as we live our lives as an overflow of who He is.
Oswald Chambers wrote, “Am I wise enough in God’s sight, but foolish enough according to the wisdom of the world, to trust in what Jesus Christ has said? Or am I abandoning the great supernatural position of limitless confidence in Christ Jesus, which is really God’s only call for a missionary?”
Remember, we are created in the image of God, for His purposes, to fulfill His plan for His Kingdom. There is a peace that is beyond human understanding and no great joy than living in a right relationship with God, and being intentional about living that out in our everyday lives. When we do that, we can face whatever life brings us with a limitless confidence through Jesus Christ.
See you Sunday as we wrap up our Kingdom Experiment series.
