Who are the Nazarenes?
We are young, old and in between. We are from all walks of life: homemakers, teachers, construction workers, administrators, self-employed, retired and students.
The Church of the Nazarene is over 100 years old, born out of the revival which our country experienced early in the 19th century. Like many of the denominations out of the protestant movement, we confess the ancient Christian creeds and desires for all people to follow the teachings and life of Jesus Christ the Nazarene.

What do we do?
We love people, for we have dedicated our lives to serve others, not ourselves. As you step into the doors of our building, we want you to feel welcomed into an environment of warmth and hospitality, and experience a "Community of Hope."
We believe God desires that we deepen our relationship with Him. We have the Bible: it is a personal letter to tell us how much He loves and desires a relationship with us. To strengthen our spiritual development, we also need each other. God’s word tells us that “as iron sharpens iron,” we make each other stronger.
We joyfully sing in our worship services and encourage participation by everyone.

Our Vision:
To encourage one another, to equip the church for the mission of reaching out to our world for Christ and to evangelism - sharing our faith with others.
Our Purpose:
To love God with all our heart, soul, mind
and strength and to love all people.
(Matthew 22:37-40)
Our Mission:
To make Christ-like disciples in the Brainerd Lakes area
at home and in the church.
We believe God has put us here to love Him and serve each other in all ways.
Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him,
so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We agree to be a church where:
Everyone is KNOWN
